My first Operations Management Supply Chain class changed my perspective of the industry. There are many things to learn from this course, which also challenged me to think analytically. My role here is to study, research, and learn more from my professor and peers. In this class, we also worked in groups and did a lot of assignments in groups to achieve a good score and GPA. This was a memorable class because I enjoyed it so much and continued deciding on making supply chain my major, and I have met some good friends along the way.

The experience as the President of the Solar Chapter at UW has taught me many meaningful growths both in my professional and personal life. My role is to guide my team members, maintain relationships with other branches in different parts of countries, attend meetings for each department (project development, marketing, sponsorship, and fundraising), and report to headquarters while giving feedback to help our non-profit organization be better and more efficient. It is a significant experience to manage a group of people, how diverse everyone is, and how to bring that together and to realize how privileged I am and taught me how to give back to my community.

As an information services specialist at the HUB at the University of Washington, I was chosen to be one of the two student employees to represent the HUB Representative Board. My role is to act as a bridge between different parts of the organization, helping to ensure that everyone is working towards common goals and that any issues or concerns can be addressed and resolved effectively. This experience is valuable because it allowed me to develop communication and leadership skills in listening and gain a deeper understanding of how different teams and departments operate within a larger organization. It also allowed me to positively impact the company culture and help create a more inclusive and collaborative workplace for all employees.
