Fundamental principles of leadership include communication, vision, accountability, empathy, and adaptability. Influential leaders must be able to communicate their ideas clearly and effectively, inspire others to share their vision, and be accountable for their actions and decisions.

A leader who promotes anti-racism actively works to eliminate racism and discrimination in all its forms. They do this by speaking out against racism, challenging unfair policies, and creating inclusive environments where everyone feels valued and respected. An anti-racist leader understands that diversity and inclusion are strengths, not weaknesses, and actively works to foster an environment where everyone can thrive regardless of race, ethnicity, or background.

Leading a small team in high school may have provided some insights into the importance of communication, teamwork, and accountability. However, leading a larger group in a more complex and diverse environment may require additional skills such as adaptability, empathy, and cultural awareness.
