ABOUT
ME

Core Values

Confidence

How you portray yourself to society will be how people perceive you as an individual. Being comfortable in your skin first, reaching that self-contentment, and knowing your self-worth is fundamental before anything else. After doing so, I love empowering my closest friends to do the same because it will give off an aura of self-respect, contentment, and fulfillment.

Discipline

Having a routine, respecting time both for other people and yourself, and managing daily schedules are some examples of how I have made my life more organized and have visibility of my smaller daily and weekly goals. Time management is crucial for me as I have taken on many responsibilities in school, including class, hanging out with friends, club activities, hobbies, and others.

Appreciation

After an achievement, acknowledge the importance of rewarding yourself to see how far you have gone and achieved. Taking a moment to step back now and then has helped me realize what can be improved and grateful for my journey, and not be blindsided by greed.

Vision

I want to be a better version of myself each day than yesterday. The burning desire to gain knowledge, learn something new every day, be goal-oriented and driven, and improve yourself as a human being is very important and has kept me going towards my goals.

Joy

I want to do things with a mindset of bringing happiness to the people around me and myself. Being positive and knowing social queues will help in achieving this. Although this tends to seem like a “people pleaser” trait, you also need boundaries in most situations and cases. When you are happy, I believe the relationships built are healthier and based on a positive foundation. No matter what I do, I always ask myself whether I am enjoying, happy, and satisfied with what I do.

Self-development

As a leader, it is essential to grow and improve oneself continuously. Self-development helps build confidence, adaptability, and a growth mindset, which is crucial for effective leadership.

Helping others

An essential aspect of leadership is using one's skills and knowledge to benefit others and contribute to the community. By helping others, a leader can inspire and motivate them to achieve their goals and positively impact the world.

Receiving feedback

Influential leaders are open to feedback and use it to improve their performance. Being receptive to feedback helps develop better results, communication, and listening skills, essential for building and maintaining relationships with others.

Initiative

Taking the initiative to lead and organize events or activities, even in challenging or awkward situations, demonstrates the ability to take charge and solve problems creatively. The industry is vital for achieving goals and making a difference, requiring self-motivation, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Why

A vision and a goal motivate me to keep living and moving forward. My dream is to see myself being content while not worrying about finances. My goal is to bring happiness and joy to myself and the people around me. By knowing this, I know what and how to achieve this goal. Starting by being disciplined, respecting others, being kind, and being positive can bring many benefits. I am trying to make my parents proud by working and studying in the United States to be a good daughter and make them proud because I am pleased with what I do.

Future goals

In the future, I envision engaging in leadership by addressing injustice and inequity as an anti-racist leader. This will involve actively advocating for and promoting equity in my personal and professional life and using my platform and influence to effect systemic change. I aim to create inclusive spaces where everyone feels valued and respected and where diversity is celebrated. By actively challenging and confronting racism and discrimination, I hope to contribute to a more just and equitable society for all.
